Team Tether is a team app for youth sports. Coaches run the schedule, roster, dues and team feed from their phone or the web; parents see every practice, game and payment for each of their kids in one place. It works for teams, skills programs and 1-on-1 coaching.

Yes. The Free plan covers one team with up to 30 athletes, the schedule, join codes, dues tracking, the team feed, documents, chat links and the play editor. Coach and Coach Pro add more teams and athletes, RSVPs, attendance, volunteer sign-ups, custom roles and permissions for your staff, more saved plays and clean exports.

Not for Team Tether itself. The only money a parent sends is the dues or program fees their coach sets, and only if the coach collects them in the app. When paying by card arrives, a coach will be able to pass the card-processing fee on; it appears as a small service fee at checkout, itemised like tax, and the amount in the app is always the price the coach set.

The coach shares a join code, link or QR poster. A parent opens the app, enters the code and adds their child. Coaches can leave joining open, require a password, approve each request, or keep it invite-only.

Never. A child in Team Tether is a record that their parent or guardian manages. Children have no login, no password and no messages. Team Tether is for adults, 18 and over.

Yes. Add a co-parent, grandparent or any guardian to a child and they see the same schedule, RSVP for the same child and get the same reminders. Several children across several teams sit under one account.

You can track them today, and collect them by card soon. Set dues up front or monthly, give any player their own plan, and every family sees exactly what they owe and when — you mark cash, checks and transfers paid by hand. Paying by card in the app, with auto-pay for monthly dues and money paid out to your bank, is built and being finished off; it is not switched on yet.

Nothing yet — card payments are not switched on. When they are, Team Tether will keep a small share of each payment, and the share is smaller on paid plans. Card processing is separate, and you will choose whether to cover it yourself or add it at checkout. The exact numbers are shown in the app before you switch payments on.

Any. Team Tether grew up around basketball — the play designer draws on a court, and the first teams were basketball teams, AAU programs and clinics — and every other sport works the same way: soccer, baseball and softball, football, volleyball, hockey, lacrosse, swim, track. The schedule, roster, dues and feed don't care what ball you use.

Yes. A coach can run several teams and programs under one account and one subscription, and every team has unlimited assistant coaches with their own permissions. An organization plan for clubs and academies that pay for many coaches at once is on the way — tell us what you run and we will find a fit.

Yes, and there is no limit on how many, on any plan. On Free, assistants join with one standard role that can help run everything. On Coach and Coach Pro you can build roles like Scheduler or Treasurer and grant only what each needs — schedule, RSVPs, dues, announcements, documents or roster.

Yes. The website has full coach and parent dashboards. The phone app and the website share one account and stay in sync.

Yes. Cancel from Manage billing whenever you like. Nothing is deleted if you downgrade — teams, athletes and plays all stay; you just can't add past the smaller plan's limits.

Today it is the playbook inside Team Tether — every team has one. The same editor is also being packaged as its own app for coaches who only want plays; that one is not in the store yet. One subscription will cover both, and plays saved in one show up in the other.
